FIELD: radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: wave signal irradiator and detectors are placed in preliminary chosen points. Data processing center is located at the object. Irradiator radiates coded signal periodically and in all the directions. Radiator signal is received by the first detector. Then own marker signal is irradiated and received by the second detector. Radiator signal and signals of the detectors are received in sequence at data processing center. Then the signals received have to be identified, and then difference in arrival times between signals of detectors and between signals of detectors and signals of radiator is measured. Location of object is determined from this arrival time difference. EFFECT: improved precision. 4 dwg
