FIELD: production of metal products by casting and deformation. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of continuous casting of metal or alloy through a mold with periodic motion of a billet, being cast, by a predetermined stroke and its subsequent deformation, combined with the casting process. The deformation is being performed by reverse extrusion simultaneously with motion of the billet. A length of the billet part, being extruded, is equal to a length of the motion stroke, and rate of the extrusion is equal to the motion speed. Apparatus for performing the method includes a continuous casting plant and a deforming unit in the form of a reverse extrusion press, arranged coaxially with an axis of the casting.
