FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves forming a groove by means of osteotomy of the inferior border of the zygomatic arch including also a part of tuberculum articulare. A graft is formed from an allocartilage provided with a projection in the end part and set into the groove with its projection directed towards the articular head and enveloped with a dura matter graft attaching to the zygomatic arch. The free end of the graft is placed on the external surface of the joint capsule and fixed with sutures. EFFECT: complete anatomic and functional restoration of the articulation members.
