FIELD: furniture. SUBSTANCE: easy chair transformable into a bed comprises a base of two pairs of legs interconnected by elbow rests and intermediate legs. The seat is articulated to the back, is hung on roller supports secured on front legs and articulated to the footrest. The back is installed on an axle secured on the rear legs and connected to the footrest by a multiple-link lever mechanism with a return spring. The design of the easy chair allows shifting it smoothly from the sitting to lying position and back without leaving the chair. The easy chair can be readily fixed in any position.
