FIELD: chemistry, medicine, cosmetics. SUBSTANCE: tyrosine is applied to slaughtering animals in 24-48 h before their slaughtering, quantity of tyrosine being 50-150 mg per 1 kg of body mass. Cutting of hides which are used as raw materials are hydrolyzed at 80-90 C within 2-4 h. The process is carried out by aqueous solution of NaOH. Thus prepared hydrolyzate is neutralized by HCl, precipitate of melanin is separated by centrifugation, washed by water and dried. EFFECT: improves efficiency of the method.
