FIELD: powder metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of introducing a powder into a liquid in quantity, consisting more, than 10% of its volume, setting a predetermined ratio of a pressure gradient and a flowrate of the liquid in a flow; providing in a vertical column a stream of water with flowrate 140 l/hour; performing an averaging of the stream velocity with the aid of a pulsator along a cross section by creating pulsation of the stream; introducing a metallic powder with particle size 160 micrometers into a mean portion of the column with an averaged velocity 140 km/hour; changing the rate of the powder feed by a metering device; keeping the same pressure of the stream at a level of the powder inlet with use of a water gage pipe. A separation factor along the boundary 40 micrometers consists more, than 0.99. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy and efficiency of sizing. 1 cl, 1 dwg
