FIELD: chemical industry; production of zeolites. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processes of crystallization and neutralization of zeolites useful, in particular, as additives to synthetic detergents. Invention consists in preparing zeolite by way of continuous crystallization from alumina-silica hydrogel in direct-flow column apparatus operating in displacement mode by applying low-frequency pulsation on suspension flow. Mother liquor in amount 10-35% based on suspension volume is continuously separated in the crystallization completion zone. Product discharge zone is fed with water and discharged product is finally neutralized. Crystallization process is carried out at elevated temperature, advantageously at 90-95 C. Prepared zeolite is distinguished with maximum content of fraction with particle size less than 2 mcm, whereas metastable form of narrow zeolite dispersity range is retained after crystallization in further operations. EFFECT: improved user's quality of zeolite.
