FIELD: hydrometallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method involves extraction of vanadium by weak-acid leaching at pH 3.01-3.6, at 71-85 C from calcined vanadium-containing materials with calcium-containing reaction addition in oxidative medium followed by acid additional extraction and hydrolysis of obtained solutions. Proposed method ensures to decrease vanadium loss with dump slime by 20-40% to get additional production with output 350 t per a year and to enhance output of process.
