SHEET STRAIGHTENING MACHINE Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: metal pressure forming. SUBSTANCE: sheet straightening machine includes the frame 2 and the cross piece 3, mounted between the columns 1. The lower cartridge 4 and the upper cartridge 9 with working rolls 5, 10 are arranged on the frame 2 and on the cross piece 3. Four membrane hydraulic cylinders 14 are mounted between the cartridge 9 and the slide 8 along an axis of screws 12 of a screw-down mechanism. Two hydraulic cylinders 15 are mounted between the cartridge 4 along its cross symmetry axis and the frame 2. All hydraulic cylinders have spherical supporting surfaces, allowing to correct position of the cartridge 4,9 in lateral, longitudinal, vertical and in several directions simultaneously due to use of pressure redistribution of the hydraulic cylinders 14, 15. With the aid of the membrane hydraulic cylinders it is possible to prevent breakage of working rolls upon overloadings. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of the machine at operation conditions. 1 cl, 3 dwg
