FIELD: chemical industry; forming of chemical fibres. SUBSTANCE: thread winder has horizontal axle 2 cantilever mounted in housing 1 with front support fitted on overhanging end of horizontal axle. Front support is made in form of ball bearing 3 on which cylindrical holder 4 for bobbin 5 is installed concentrically with axle 2. Fitted on end of holder 4 nearest to fitting-in arrangement at its outer side is rear support 6. Rear support can be made in form of bearing on gas cushion. Outer surface of holder serves as inner race of gas cushion bearing. Bearing outer race is installed on gimbal mount. Rear support can be made in form of three support rollers.
