FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: mandrel has spindle mounted in cantilever in body for rotation by friction drive, and chuck arresting gear. Chuck arresting gear is in the form of a number of alternating rigid and flexible holders positioned in line on the spindle. One of the edge holders is fastened on spindle, and edge holder on another end is engageable with spring-loaded rod positioned in inside space of spindle and connected to axial drive. Alternating holders are mechanically connected to one another, and flexible holders are provided with corrugated pieces. Each flexible holder is provided at least with three corrugation pieces.
