SUBSTANCE: describes a polymer composite, filled with an odorant, which is sulfur dioxide, lower mercaptans, dialkyl sulfides, dialkyl disulphides or its mixtures, having the explosive destruction temperature in the range 80-200°C, used to generate the electrical equipment local overheats signal, wherein the polymeric composite material, filled with the odorant represents: a material, containing the microcapsules with an odorant core, surrounded by a shell of polymeric material, distributed in a polymeric binder; or material, containing crosslinked polymer particles, swollen in an odorant solution enclosed in a polymer matrix; or a material, containing sorbent particles, with the odorant sorbed on them, enclosed in a polymer matrix; or a material, containing porous polymer particles with closed-type pores or channels, filled with an odorant or an odorant solution, enclosed in a polymer matrix.

EFFECT: obtained composite polymer material intended to eliminate the appeared ignition.
