FIELD: automotive industry. SUBSTANCE: hydraulic shock-absorber has housing constructed as a cylinder, piston with a rod which are mounted inside the cylinder to define above-piston space and under-piston space, and compensation chamber connected with the under-piston space and above-piston space through passageways and check valves. The under- piston space is in communication with the above-piston space through the passageway and stop valve. The above- piston space is in communication with the compensation chamber through a passageway and compression valve. The stop and compression valves are made up as a pressure- reducing valves. The compensation chamber is made up as an expansion tank, the gas space of the tank being in communication with the atmosphere. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 4 dwg
