FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: ultrasonic method of measurement of tightening effort of threaded connection lies in inspection of ultrasonic oscillations into examined object, in reception of signals passed through object, in measurement of their parameters under free and loaded state of connection, in determination of internal tension by difference of these parameters and in calculation of tightening effort by value of tension and section area where tension is measured. Nut of threaded connection is used in the capacity of examined object. Area of section should be equal to area of nut surface contacting pulled off article. EFFECT: increased precision and authenticity of measurement results, expanded field of application of ultrasonic method thanks to exclusion of effect of length and diameter of body of volt (nut) or measurement results.
