FIELD: nondestructive testing. SUBSTANCE: pulses of ultrasonic oscillations of two types, for instance longitudinal and lateral ones, are coupled into examined object and into its unloaded analog, signals passed through are received, sums and differences of received signals are formed in loaded and unloaded regions for both types of oscillations and value of stress is calculated by their relationships. EFFECT: increased precision and authenticity of measurement results.
