FIELD: fat-and-oil industry. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has housing 1 with hollow shaft 5 and hollow perforated mixers 12. Overheated gas is supplied through mixers 12. Device 15 for separating gas flow from free-flowing material is positioned above free-flowing material charging branch pipe 8. Device 15 has two corrugated partitions. Upper partition is fixed in housing 1 and lower partition is mounted on hollow shaft 5 for rotation with it. Corrugations define labyrinth which is used for baffling material particles rising together with vapors back into apparatus. Vapors pass through radial slits in partitions and are intaken through branch pipes 4.
