FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: tilting mechanism of the mould has two levers articulated with the mould, with one of the levers being a bell-crank, a traction connected with the latter and a crank drive. The bell-crank is mounted on the traction end with its support, and one of its ends is connected with the crankshaft. The yoke is connected with the other end of the second bell-crank in its horizontal position at the angle of 140-160. In this case the ratio of the crankshaft and the yoke lengths is 0.35-0.4. The ratio of the arms of the second bell-crank is 0.55-0.65. EFFECT: enhanced quality of the metal continuous casting. 2 dwg
