FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: plant for the metal semicontinuous casting includes a mould, a housing, a stool, the mechanism for withdrawing the stool together with the ingot, the guideways for the stool as well as a drive for the guideway canting. In order to enhance the quality of the continuously cast ingots made of high-alloy steel and complexly-alloyed steel which are inclined to cracking, pipes connected with the water-inlet and water-outlet branch pipes are mounted according to the perimeter of the inside surface of the housing along the guideways. The distance from the facets of the working reservoir of the mould to the pipe surface makes up 0.1-0.5 of the width of the working reservoir of the mould.
