FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: metal continuous casting plant has rollers with barrels, arranged one relative to another with a gap, equal to 0.004-0.02 of their diameter; axis of nozzles of cooling jets are spaced from a plane, being tangent to the barrels of the rollers, by a distance, equal to (0.2-0.4) of radius of the barrels. Such structure influences upon a drawing speed of ingots, increasing it, therefore enhancing efficiency of the plant, and upon a bulging value of a skin of the ingot, decreasing it, therefore eliminating cracking formation along crystallization front and prevent super-cooling of angular portions and heating of surfaces of ingots, therefore provides angular-cracking lowered rejection. EFFECT: enhanced quality of ingots. 1 cl, 1 tbl
