FIELD: electro-erosion treatment. SUBSTANCE: method for producing composite material on the base of tungsten/copper pseudo alloy includes pressing and heat treatment of charge. The charge has copper powder and powder of tungsten bearing component, including recovery products and products of coal-thermal synthesis of tungsten concentrate with relation between components as follows (per cent by weight) 10 to 20 recovery product of tungsten concentrate, 10 to 25 product of coal-thermal synthesis of tungsten concentrate, the balance being copper powder. Electrode-tool produced of the proposed material based on pseudo tungsten alloy and copper is hardened by tungsten carbide. EFFECT: improved operating properties and decreased cost. 2 cl, 1 tbl
