FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: machine comprises at least two draw-in and cutting working tools arranged across its working width between two sideplates, symmetrically to its longitudinal axis, rotating around a vertical or nearly-vertical axis. Said tools are provided with gripping teeth and form a plant entrance slot therebetween. The machine also has feed rolls arranged before a grinder and forming an opening for entrance of the cut-off plants, said opening being disposed in the horizontal plane of the draw-in and cutting working tools. The opening between the latter is covered by a guide positioned in the zone between the circumference extending over the points of gripping teeth and the circumference extending around the draw-in and cutting tools. The machine is provided also with drive drums, one for each working tool, disposed at an angle between the draw-in and cutting working tools and the feed rolls, adjoining their external surfaces and arranged symmetrically with longitudinal axis of the machine and towards the working plane of the working tools.
