FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: unit for processing metallurgical slags consists of pouring trough, working trough in form of set of fixed longitudinal grate bars forming opened cylindrical surface of disks secured to rotating axle and interconnected by shelves square to fixed grate and located in openings of cylindrical surfaces of metal balls, coating device and unloading unit. Shelves are installed in a spaced relation with grate bars equalling not more than 0.5 of minimal size of metal balls. Distance between shelves amounts to 0.1- 0.3 of the length of disk circumference, and their height equals 1-3 maximum sizes of metal ball.
