FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: two sealing members secured to the carrying frame enclose the axle box and made up as gaskets with jaw and/or sealing sliding rings. The means for cooling the members is made up as heat conducting pipes arranged in the axle box. Each of the pipes is closed from the faces to define the closed chamber. The capillary body is mounted on the inner side of the chamber. A part of the pipe is positioned in the zone of the sealing members. The other part is positioned in the zone of a cold fluid. A liquid, the boiling temperature of which is less than the permissible operation temperature of the members, serves as the coolant. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 5 cl, 7 dwg
