FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device represents a slit ring having the thickness from 7.5 to 18 per cent of the rated diameter of the reducible neck. The height of the slit ring is chosen with regard to the height of the processed repair sectors. The inner diameter of the slit ring is determined from the given relationship. The device also has a spacer to be installed in the space between the repair sectors and the ring expander. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of the mechanical processing of the repair sectors designed to restore crank pins. 1 cl, 4 dwg
