FIELD: space exploration. SUBSTANCE: method involves the use of preserved urine for regeneration into water by the method of distillation at atmospheric pressure. The supply of preservative is under continuous control, and containers for urine differ in their capacity to determine the degree of extraction. Evaporation is organized in the air flow through hydrophilic and hydrophobic membranes separating the circulating air and urine heated to a temperature not exceeding 60 C. An air filter is used to reject gas evolving from the urine, and separation of air with water vapor from liquid with sorption-catalytic cleaning of the condensate is a two-step process. EFFECT: higher water quality; higher reliability. 4 cl, 1 dwg
