FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical biotechnology and can be used in water supply systems for long-term, autonomous, self-contained space and ground living objects. For regeneration of water urine is collected and preserved by adding an aqueous solution of orthophosphoric acid (H3PO4) containing oxidizing agents to pH of 3 to 5. Preservatives are aqueous solutions containing 44.3 %, H3PO4 and 11 % chromium oxide (CrO3), or aqueous solution containing 37 % H3PO4 and 13 % potassium dichromate (K2Cr2O7), or 37.5 % H3PO4 and 2.5 % potassium permanganate (KMnO4). Next resulting mixture is purified by placing it in an air stream of a low-temperature evaporator at a temperature of +60 °C and collecting the desired product in the form of condensate. Distillate thus obtained corresponds to GOST-50804-95 standards for drinking water.
EFFECT: invention provides improvement in quality of water purification recovered from urine with reduction of amount of reagents used.
