FIELD: laser thermonuclear fusion. From this radiation beam of diverging radiation is formed. Density of power of amplified radiation over entire length of diverging beam is chosen not less than density of saturation power. Volume of active medium where field of induced radiation is formed is limited by surface manufactured in the form of side surface of truncated cone changing over on side of smaller base into surface of cylinder coaxial to cone. Ratio of bigger size of base of cylinder to its height exceeds ratio of bigger size of bigger base of cone which is output of device to its height and side surface of truncated cone is formed by edges of holes of diaphragms installed in parallel with distance between any adjacent diaphragms smaller than distance from first diaphragm to base of cylinder. Scattering optical system which apparent focus is inside volume limited by surface of cylinder is mounted at point of change-over of surface of truncated cone into surface of cylinder.
