FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: described are unique antigenic epitops IgE (designated ige. b1 present on IgE-producing B-lymphocytes). One class of ige.b1 epitops is linked with it near FCER-site of linking on IgE. The other class of ige.b1 epitops is associated with the extracellular ε-chain domain fixing IgE on membranes of B-cells (emb/ec). Monoclonal antibodies associated with ige.b1 epitops are used for therapy of allergic conditions induced by IgE. Separate monoclonal antibodies or antibodies conjugated with cytotoxin (immonotoxins) may be used for suppressing B- cells producing IgE. Monoclonal antibodies against idiotypes ige.b1 of specific antibodies or peptides expressing epitops may be used in active immunization of allergic patients in order to attain same results as those attained by treatment with monoclonal antibodies.
