FIELD: optical instrument engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has radiation source 1 and concentrating reflector 2, which has reflecting surface made in form of surface of rotation. Generating line of the surface is formed by several parts joined in sequence. Shape of the generating line of surface of the reflector at any part, except for initial one, which is disposed close to vertex of the reflector, and boundaries of joining of the parts, are determined from system of equations. Initial part of contour of the reflector from its vertex to some point of the profile is made in form of quadratic curve section with radius of curvature at its vertex, which is given in the description of the invention. Air-tight protective transparent partition 4 is mounted at the end of concentrating reflector. Cross-section profile of the partition is made for providing additional focusing of preset portions of radiation of linear source.
