FIELD: production of manganese dioxide from manganese raw material. SUBSTANCE: method for production of manganese dioxide from manganese raw material includes leaching of manganese (2+) with sulfuric acid at pH within 2, cathode treatment of produced solution in cathode chamber of diaphragm cell with anion-exchange membrane up to pH 3.5-4.5 and precipitation of manganese concentrate containing manganese dioxide. Concentrate is precipitated in anode chamber of diaphragm cell simultaneously with cathode treatment of solution by feeding treated solution after its filtration and acidification to anode chamber, and solution after precipitation of manganese dioxide is directed for leaching of raw material.
