FIELD: solar receivers. SUBSTANCE: solar receiver has tubular casing with port inflow of incident concentrated solar radiation. Volumetric solar absorber mounted inside casing has many elements separated from one another by gaps and projecting from its one surface; their free ends are directed towards port. Receiver is also provided with devices for introducing the working fluid into solar absorber in directions of flow which intersect elements of absorber; receiver is also provided with devices for removal of heated working fluid. Port of solar receiver is tubular body in form of truncated cone coaxial with casing owing to which receiver may operate at increased pressure. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 11 cl, 3 dwg
