SUBSTANCE: invention reports about preparing new interferon-binding proteins that are able to modulate activity of different subtypes of interferon-α and activity of interferon-β also. Invention describes cloning DNA fragment encoding interferon-α/β-binding protein IFNAB-BPII and expression of prepared DNA fragment in host-cells with formation both corresponding polypeptide and in the form of fusion proteins. Invention proposes practical using prepared proteins as components of pharmaceutical compositions used for treatment of diseases requiring inhibition of activity of IFN-α or IFN-β.

EFFECT: valuable biological and medicinal properties of proteins.
