FIELD: catalytic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: method involves utilization of transient aluminium oxide with specific surface 100-400 m2/g which is milled up to particles of size less 20 mcm followed by treatment of obtained product at 60-99 C with solution of nitric and/or acetic, oxalic or formic acid (acid consumption is 0.01-0.1 mole per mole aluminium oxide). Hydrated product is dried in boiling layer of inert heat carrier and plasticized with nitric and/or oxalic acids in the presence of carbamide (consumption of each acid is 0.01-0.1 mole per mole aluminium oxide, carbamide consumption is 1-2 mole per mole nitric acid). Plasticized product is shaped, granules were dried and subjected for thermic treatment. Transient aluminium oxide has 10-80% χ-aluminium oxide and roentgen-amorphous aluminium hydroxide the rest or 10-80% c-aluminium oxide and roentgen-amorphous aluminium hydroxide containing 10% gibbsite and/or 5% boeminte.
