FIELD: mechanical engineering; conveyors for transportation of heavy bulk and unit loads over long distances. SUBSTANCE: cable-belt conveyor has carrying belt whose carrying and return runs are mated with traction member in form of cables, roller supports for working and return runs and limiters to prevent cross deflection of carrying gun. Belt is made flat, traction member cables have rubber sheathing, and limiters are made in form of inclined grooved rollers installed along conveyor at edges of carrying run of belt. Rollers serve to press non-loaded carrying run of belt to traction member and to make it trough-shaped. Roller supports of return run of belt are straight. Conveyor has guide pressure rollers to press traction member to return run of belt. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 4 dwg
