FIELD: metal working. SUBSTANCE: milling head has a body, consisting of the supporting plate 1, the plate 2 of a base and two lateral plates, serving as rigidity ribs. The motor 4 is mounted on the plate 2 in order to transfer rotation from the upper semicoupling 5 to the lower semicoupling 6; then through the key 7 rotation is being transferred to the cover 8 and from that cover to the end milling cutter 9, being based in radial direction through the lower semicoupling 6 with the aid of the radial bearing 10. The radial bearings 11 with small diameter are mounted with the aid of axles 12 on the supporting plate 1 along the same diameter relative to the rotation axis of the milling cutter. The above mentioned diameter is selected as large as possible (practically on a level of cutting edges of the milling cutter). EFFECT: enhanced structure of the milling head. 1 cl, 3 dwg
