Alkyl component has 1-10 carbon atoms; B carboxy or carboxy-protected group; R3,R4,R5 are similar or distinct groups and each means hydrogen atom, hydroxyl group, C1-C8-alkyl, C1-C8-alkoxy, C1-C8-alkoxy, C1-C10-alkyl, C1-C8-alkoxym C1-C8-alkoxy, C3-C7-cycloalkyl-C1-C8-alkoxy, thio-C1-C8-alkyl, thio-C1-C8-alkyl, for exception, when R3 and R4 is simultaneously lower C1-C8-alkoxy-group or a group of the formula (II) in which R3,R4,R5 have meanings indicated above; X and Y are similar or different and each means hydroxyl or C1-C8-alkoxy. Compound (I) or its pharmacologically acceptable salts show inhibitory activity with respect to synthesis of leukotrienes and thromboxanes and can be used in medicine as therapeutic agents.
