FIELD: rubber production. SUBSTANCE: method involves radical copolymerization of coupled dienes with styrene. After achievement of residual styrene content 0.3-0.5 wt.-% in rubber methacrylic acid and reaction products of radical initiating agent (0.5-5.0 mole per 1 mole nonpolymerized styrene and 0.1-2.0 wt.-% per 100 mas. p. respectively, were fed to the reaction zone. Method is used in petroleum chemical industry. EFFECT: improved method of low-molecular rubber production. 1 tbl
