FIELD: chemical sources of electric energy. SUBSTANCE: active mass is applied on to conductive base produced from spongy nickel with density 0.02- 0.6 g/cu/cm, is prepressed, formed and thermally treated in inert atmosphere at temperature 80-250 C for the course of 1.0-3.0 h. Then it is treated in alkaline solution with addition of 1.0-5.0 g/l of sulfur for the course of 0.5-5.0 min. EFFECT: manufacture of ductile electrode, high rate of use of active mass. 4 tbl
