FIELD: shoe industry. SUBSTANCE: shock-absorbing heel has body formed by two hollow parts. Bottom part is movable relative to top part by means of flexible member. Heel is provided with motion limiter and device for regulating compression extent of flexible member. Heel body is made in the form of sleeve with cylindrical cover. Sleeve is positioned in heel body and filled with process oil. Flexible member is formed as spring. Rod mounted within heel body has upper end with slot, allowing rod to be rotated in opening made in cover, and lower end connected with a pair of disks provided with openings. Disks rotate one with respect to the other in horizontal plane. Motion limiter has stops positioned in upper end of rod. Rigid plate is attached adjacent to heel rounded portion at its ground- engaging side and fixed in heel body through cross rod. Rigid plate is connected with sleeve through spherical member. Spring compression extent limiter has replaceable resilient gasket positioned between rigid plate and sleeve. EFFECT: increased shock-absorbing effect at the initial stage of contact of shoes with support and independent control of shock-absorbing and damping heel characteristics. 4 dwg
