FIELD: personal use articles.
SUBSTANCE: shank is designed for dampening shoes with middle and high heels, it has front, middle and back parts performed as an integral whole, as well as areas of connection of these parts. The front part is located at the level of the upper surface of the beam part of the sole, the back of the shank is located on the inclined upper surface of the heel, and the middle part, while connecting them, is bent in the form of a shank part of the sole. At that the back part is made in the form of a closed band with a wide opening; limiter of the outer perimetre of a closed band is a line of the edge of tightening fillet stretched to the insole, and a line retreating from the end surface of the heel on 10 mm. On the closed band a number of holes is made for fixing to insole by screws or texes.
EFFECT: increased strength and comfort of a sole.
