FIELD: utilization of rubber production waste. SUBSTANCE: rubber waste is first processed mechanically on rolls with a minimum roll gap. The next step is introduction of a binder consisting of vulcanized production waste of molded industrial rubber goods, also of vulcanized and nonvulcanized production waste of conveyor belts. The mass waste/binder ratio is 0.66-2.75:1. Mixing is carried out to vulcanization degree of 0.2-1.4 arbitrary units on a circular module. Then 2-10 pts wt of bitumen are introduced per 100 pts wt of mixture. Vulcanization is conducted with 1-3 pts wt sulphur per 100 pts wt of mixture. Characteristics of material: relative tension strength, 4.1-5.1 MPa, elongation at rupture, 100-120%, residual elongation, 2.4-26.8%, Shore hardness, 62-82, water absorption, 1.62-1.7%. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 tbl
