FIELD: rubber industry and waste disposal. SUBSTANCE: non-disintegrated waste from sponge rubber production with apparent density 0.2-0.3 g/cu.cm is loaded onto rolls 1500 660/660 and subjected to friction treatment with minimum roll opening for 3-25 min, flashes from the first stage of cure of sponge press plate with apparent density 0.3-0.55 g/cu.cm are added at ratio (2.1-3.6): 1, then 1.1-1.5 wt % of water-soluble oligomer lignin-containing additive or indene-coumarone resin, and mixture is agitated for 5-15 min. Characteristics of regenerate: stretching strength 42.6-51.2 MPa, relative elongation 94-116%, residual elongation 2-4%. EFFECT: improved performance characteristics. 3 tbl
