FIELD: crystalline materials. SUBSTANCE: method involves the use of high-frequency (ρo= 6,12 g/cm3) and radiation-resistant (109 rad) materials which can be used as scintillators in registration systems of ionizing radiation, in part, in electromagnetic calorimeters. Monocrystalline materials are the solid solution on the base of CdF2 with fluoride RF3 addition where R - cerium, lanthanum or their mixture corresponding empirical formulas Cd1-xClxF2+x, Cd0,99La0,01F2,01, Cd0,98La0,01Cl0,01F2,01,. Other material is the solid solution on the base of monocrystralline cerium fluoride with cadmium fluoride addition corresponding empirical formula Cl0,995Cd0,005F2,995. Monocrystals were grown in graphite crucibles under fluorinating atmosphere. EFFECT: enhanced quality of material. 3 cl, 3 dwg, 1 tbl
