FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: microorganisms as components of foods were enriched with trace elements. This enrichment is carried out by growing or incubation yeast (for example, Candida utilis) in the presence of trace elements. Yeast (C. utilis) is grown in the presence of manganese salt which is added at the mean log-phase of growth at concentration 100 mg/l, or in the presence of cobalt salt (concentration at the level 10-12 mg/l), or in the presence of selenium salt which is added at the exponential growth phase up to the concentration 0.15 mg. Yeast C. utilis is incubated with iodide at concentration 800 mg/l and hydrogen peroxide at concentration 40 mg. Trace element content in proposed food addition is at least 2 g/kg. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of food addition proposed. 10 cl, 2 tbl
