FIELD: production of semifinished products from titanium alloy waste materials. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of feeding waste material, has been disintegrated, for example in a rotary compacting machine, to an extruder, in a mean portion of which a titanium hydride powder is being introduced to the waste material; after compaction of a blank performing its cage hardening; then applying a protective sealed envelope, for example, by spraying high-temperature enamel; carrying out thermic hydrogen absorption at heating for extrusion in the result of decomposition of titanium hydride inside of the blank, had been covered by the protective envelope; realizing steps of drying the envelope, thermic hydrogen absorption the blank, heating it for extrusion, extrusion of a semifinished product and its thermic hydrogen charging simultaneously at the same manufacturing cycle, in the same volume and medium. The case hardening of the blank is being performed by ultrasonic treatment or with use of a concentrated heat source. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of the method. 7 cl, 1 dwg
