SUBSTANCE: optical coupler includes two light-emitting diodes anchored on rotating and nonrotating elements optically coupled to radiator and light detector, two identical turns of light guide centered relative to rotation axis of rotating element and intercoupled through constant gap. Turns of light guides are put on proper element and are optically coupled to light guide arranged on this element. Turns of light guides can be manufactured in the form of turns of cylindrical helical spring with pitch equal to thickness of light guides. Turns of light guides may have counter of rectangular shape. Space between turns may be filled with immersion medium.
