FIELD: transport. SUBSTANCE: steering wheel has rim with carcass covered with synthetic material, hub and spokes made of tubes rigidly connected with hub and with rim hollow carcass which accommodates flexible rod with thread one end of which is secured in bearing rigidly fastened in hollow carcass, and other end is coupled with drive. Weights are placed on rod for displacement along its longitudinal axis. In case of vibration of steering wheel, drive will rotate flexible rod with thread and displace weights relative to hub, thus changing frequency of natural oscillations of steering wheel. EFFECT: improved vibration protection of steering wheel. 2 dwg
