FIELD: rubberizing of metallic and non-metallic articles, for example, drums and shafts of belt conveyers, and repair of encasings of conveyer belts. SUBSTANCE: a mixture obtained from 5 to 95% of the mass of vulcanized crumb rubber and 95 to 5% of the mass of thermoelastoplastic material. The mixture is obtained by agitation of components heated to the melting point of thermoelastoplastic material. Prior to application of rubberizing material, plates are moulded from it. The internal surface of the plates corresponds to the shape of the article, and the external surface has a preset relief. Damaged parts of rubberizing coating are used for forming of rubberizing material, they are removed from the article. In this case rubberizing material is produced by heating of damaged parts to the melting point of thermoelastoplastic material and addition of components, whose mass is insufficient.
