FIELD: physics, electronics. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to technology of manufacture of triple semiconductor compounds of 9615,94021181,501 type and is industrially suitable for manufacture of monocrystals of silver selenohallate which are widely used in nonlinear optics. Process is aimed at production of high-quality monocrystals of silver selenohallate of large physical dimensions (diameter up to 40 mm, length up to 100 mm) with following technical characteristics: bandwidth 0.725-18.0 AIBIIIC2VI, width of prohibited zone 1.83 eV; angle of phase matching 46-48 deg. Process of manufacture of monocrystals of silver selenohallate is based on production of monocrystals of directed crystallization of melt with temperature gradient close to crystallization front. In this case directed crystallization is conducted by drawing of monocrystal from melt on to seed in melting pot at temperature gradient 170-190 C/cm and constancy of stoichiometric composition of crystal grown with rate 3-4 mm/h.
