FIELD: electrochemical generators with one working material. SUBSTANCE: thermoelectrochemical generator has heat source, hermetically sealed vessel filled with alkaline metal, diaphragm made of selective porous material and installed inside vessel so that it comes in contact through its one side with porous electrode electrically connected to current lead insulated from vessel; its other side contacts capillary-tube core connecting diaphragm to vessel wall. Heat source is placed inside vessel and held down against diaphragm by means of contact members. The latter may be made of material possessing transformation induced plasticity. Thermoelectric generator may be provided with set of series-switched electricity generating elements. Alkaline metal content does not exceed rated holding capacity of cores. EFFECT: improved efficiency due to reduced energy loss. 1 dwg
